Sales from a new outdoor photography book will benefit the Friends. Traces of Eden is a hardcover collection of America's wilderness areas, as photographed by Nishantha Gunawardena.

Gunawardena is a freelance photojournalist specializing in geographical subjects. His work has been published in international magazines, newspapers in three continents, scientific journals, and books. Outdoor Photographer, one of the world’s largest photography magazines, assigned him to write the cover story on Alaska for the special issue of 2005. His work has been exhibited at over 1,000 galleries and exhibits throughout the United States.
