Canoe the “urban wilderness” with the FriendsSeptember 8, 2009
Enjoy a fun urban canoe adventure with the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness and Wilderness Inquiry. We will paddle down the Mississippi River Gorge in nine-person “North Canoes” for a few hours and have lunch afterwards at Hidden Falls Regional Park. Canoes, paddles, and lifejackets will be provided. The event is rain or shine, so be prepared for the weather! When: Where: Schedule:

Directions to Hidden Falls Regional Park, North Gate PLEASE NOTE: There are two entrances to Hidden Falls. These directions are for the upper or more northern entrance of the park. The lower or South Gate entrance of the park is about a mile south of the North Gate entrance.
Parking: Parking is available at the boat launch/picnic area. Your vehicle and belongings are left at your own risk.
