The maverick, rule-breaking spirit of Dorothy Molter is captured magnificently in a virtuoso performance by Kim Schultz in The Root Beer Lady, which is playing now at the History Theater in Saint Paul.
In this special Lunch with the Friends, we sit down with Kim, the writer and performer of this one-woman play. We’ll explore her research and writing process, and how she brings Dorothy Molter’s character to life on stage.
