PolyMet's New Mine Plan Needs a New Environmental Review

Polymet-NewRange mine - A new plan to pollute Lake Superior

PolyMet/NewRange just told the Minnesota DNR it wants to make major changes to its copper-sulfide mine — a mine that, by the company’s own estimates, would release millions of  gallons of polluted water into the ground every year, contaminating water flowing to the Fond du Lac Reservation, Duluth, and Lake Superior.

Tell DNR Commissioner Strommen: Minnesota’s water deserves DNR’s full protection, beginning with a new, full environmental review.
