Remove DNR Conflict of Interest to Promote Mining (SF 169/HF 1225)

Contact your legislators to remove DNR’s conflict of interest to promote mining. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a conflicting mission to promote mining and to protect the environment. This legislation would release DNR from its obligation to promote mining and shift that responsibility to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
