A 200-year toxic lake. A discredited and risky dam design. A $40 billion global owner refusing to accept responsibility. EPA comments hidden from the public. Failure to consult with the Fond du Lac Band.  A “forever” permit based on untried techniques. The courts have spoken and the people of Minnesota have seen enough — PolyMet has failed. Its proposed sulfide mine threatens our health and future, and the problems are simply too many and too serious to paper over.
