The Angleworm trail is one of many popular trails that also contains several challenging features. Switchbacks, slide slopes and slippery bare rock can be challenging to even seasoned hikers. These features aren’t new to Northern Minnesota recreationalists.

Tactics to reduce accidents, improve navigation and support rescuers have developed to create a safer experience in our unique area. While taking on the trail we will discuss trail safety tips, common injuries and navigation tools using statistics in our area.
