By including a gift to the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness in your will, you play a critical role in helping us fulfill our mission to protect the Boundary Waters and to connect people of all backgrounds to the wilderness. Because of your generous support, Friends has made great strides in ensuring that this and future generations benefit from this special place. But our work is far from over, and you can play an important role in protecting the Boundary Waters.

My late husband began kayaking in the BWCA at age 16 and continued these annual trips until his sudden death at age 64. The BWCA provided for him a peaceful refuge. It was his favorite place to be. I give to Friends to honor his memory and to preserve this beautiful area for future generations.
