Celebrate our 50th anniversary on two wheels, and help support the Ely community at our August bike ride. The ride will support local Ely non-profits and the Mesabi Trail association.

We’ll ride from Ely to Soudan and back, with long and short course options available.

Choose from:

• Long Course: 47.4 miles | Starts at 8:00 AM
• Short Course: 27.8 miles | Starts at 9:00 AM

After the ride, celebrate your finish with food trucks and fellow riders in Ely.

• Registration: $20 per rider ($10 for participants under 19)
• Registration deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM CT
• Event capacity: 250 participants

Not riding? Ride crew is where the fun is. We need volunteers throughout the day, with event setup, aid stations, road crossings, and keeping the party rolling at the finish line. Volunteers get a free lunch and free merch, and an inside track to celebrate and support our community in Ely. Sign up today!
