Dorothy Molter - the Story of the Root Beer Lady

Lunch with the Friends
Wednesday, February 1, 2023
12-1pm
(Virtual)

Many of you have heard about Dorothy Molter — perhaps you were lucky enough to stop at her cabin for a root beer.

Her story, the story of the last person to permanently live in the Boundary Waters, is part of the incredible history of the BWCA. It’s also the subject of a new one-woman show playing at the History Theater in St. Paul.

For this Lunch with Friends, we’ll talk with actress Kim Schultz and director Addie Gorlin-Han on how they brought this story to life.

Join us for a great conversation on creativity, wilderness and this iconic woman!
