Emily Ford’s Boundary Waters Trek

Lunch with the Friends
Wednesday, April 27th
12noon Central Time
This winter, we sponsored Emily Ford on a 210-mile ski journey across the Boundary Waters. Emily and her dog, Diggins, spent a month in the harsh Boundary Waters winter on a remarkable expedition to raise awareness of the threat proposed copper-sulfide mining poses to the Boundary Waters and to promote diversity and inclusivity in the wilderness.
Join us on Wednesday, April 27th to hear all about Emily’s journey!
