PolyMet Back in Court: special insight into Wednesday’s oral arguments
Thursday, October 28
12pm Central Time
Over the last year, Friends of the Boundary Waters and our partners have won important legal challenges against PolyMet’s proposed toxic copper sulfide mine. Wednesday morning, PolyMet will be back in court.
Join us on Thursday afternoon for a Lunch with the Friends presentation to hear insight on the oral argument before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Our Board Member Evan Nelson, an attorney at Maslon LLP, will provide a special look at the important wastewater permit before the court and where this case will go from here.
We are grateful to the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (representing the Friends), WaterLegacy, and the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa for their work on this case.
