Special Update on the BWCA Fires

Virtual

This summer, wildfires have closed the Boundary Waters and forced some residents to evacuate.

Please join us for a special Lunch with the Friends program to get the very latest information on the BWCA fires and other wildfires in the Superior National Forest. You will hear from people who are on the front lines, and will receive factual information and context for what is happening. If you love the Boundary Waters, you will not want to miss this special update!

We will be joined by Clare Shirley, owner and operator of Sawbill Canoe Outfitters, Joanna Gilkerson, public affairs specialist for the Superior National Forest, and Clark McCreedy, public information officer for the Eastern Area Incident Management Team.
